Abstract
This study aimed to conduct a comprehensive scientometric analysis of research trends and economic challenges related to water - based nanofluids. Data were extracted from Scopus and analyzed with R and R Studio software. The results showed that this field has grown significantly, especially in recent years, and the published articles have been influential. The journal "Applied Thermal Engineering" was the most frequently used source, and "KABEEL AE" and "SHARSHIR SW" were identified as the most active authors. A review of author collaborations showed that researchers mostly work in small groups and international collaborations are limited . India, China, and Iran are the most active countries in this field. Frequent keywords indicate that research focuses on improving heat transfer, energy efficiency, and solar energy applications using nanofluids. This study shows that water-based nanofluids have great potential, but further research is needed to reduce costs and increase sustainability for commercialization .
