Abstract
In this research, a critical and vital factor of evaporation and transpiration from an agricultural farm is examined. As we know, one of the problems regarding the country's water resources stems from excessive water consumption in agriculture. Sometimes, directly assessing specific points to determine evaporation and transpiration can be challenging. Through this study, we aimed to establish a correlation between the high accuracy of ground-based assessments and spatial analyses for detecting evaporation and transpiration, providing a better and easier solution for identifying these processes. This article focuses on evaluating the evaporation and transpiration of agricultural lands in the Qazvin plain using the SEBAL model. Evaporation and transpiration are key factors in water resource management and agriculture, playing an essential role in determining the water needs of plants and optimizing water use. In this study, remote sensing data and meteorological information were analyzed to investigate evaporation and transpiration patterns in this region. The SEBAL model was employed as an innovative tool for accurately estimating these parameters. The results indicated that the water needs of agricultural lands in the Qazvin plain are influenced by various factors, including crop type, weather conditions, and soil characteristics. This study will provide solutions for improving water resource management in agriculture and preserving the environment, and it can serve as a basis for future research in this field. Identifying and understanding evaporation and transpiration optimally can lead to increased productivity and sustainability of agriculture in this region.
