This article evaluates the status of basic problems related to water resources used in the greenhouses of Aras Azad Zone. To achieve these goals, GIS analysis and field visits have been used as the main tools. At first, satellite and geographic data are collected and evaluated with the help of GIS analysis. Then the field visit is done directly in the place to confirm and improve the accuracy of the information. The results of the research show that one of the main problems in water sources used in greenhouses is the fluctuation of water turbidity in different seasons of the year. These fluctuations can have detrimental effects on the performance of desalination systems and bring additional costs to operators. Another problem in water sources is the presence of soluble salts in water, which increases the EC (electrical conductivity) value of water in that area. This requires desalination of the water, which is typically done using reverse osmosis (RO) systems. Finally, the important research comes to the conclusion that the fluctuations of water turbidity in different seasons of the year can weaken the performance of desalination systems and bring increased costs for the users. Therefore, careful management of water turbidity changes and strategies to reduce its harmful effects are of great importance. The results of this research show that the use of GIS analysis in combination with field visits leads to more accurate visualization and improved diagnosis of greenhouse water problems.
