Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of thermosyphon and nanofluid on heat transfer. In other words, the goal is to increase as much as possible the thermal performance of the thermosyphon using nanofluid, which is efficient in controlling the temperature and preventing the freezing of power plant equipment. The use of nanofluids to improve the thermal properties of the working fluid in heat pipes is proposed as an idea, and various researchers have investigated this issue experimentally. But still, limited research has been done on the use of nanofluids as a new idea to increase the constant thermal conductivity of liquid in heat pipes. Also, according to the investigations carried out, the researches that have been carried out on this device so far have been mostly experimental and the number of researches that have focused on its simulation and numerical modeling has been limited. The combination of two hybrid nanofluid technologies and heat pipes in the field of cooling or heating of petroleum equipment is one of the topics of modern research in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, which is both practical for the country and its needs, and a new horizon of the use of this equipment in the field It is power plant and oil equipment
